Water, gleaming in lights, dancing to music is a show that’s surely going to romance your senses. It is surely going to leave you asking for more. And, it’s the perfect romantic setting to steal a kiss with your loved one.

Meet the Circus at Circus Circus –

What – The world’s largest permanent circus inside the Circus Circus Hotel & Casino

Why should you not miss it – Death-defying acrobats and unicyclists high above the casino floor, while the guests are trying their luck at the slotting machine, is something that will stay you forever. Oh, yes, there are highwire and trapeze artists as well performing while you just stare at them with your mouth open

What – An animatronics show at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace

Why should you not miss it – Imagine the water in a fountain receding and three figures rising from beneath it – King Atlas, Alia, his daughter and Gadrius, his son. Now throw in some lights, music, fire, laser, and a giant 20-feet tall dragon. What – An elaborate and elegant arrangement of flowers based on various themes

Why should you not miss it – An elaborate arrangement of plants and flowers spread across an area of 14,000 square feet! Jaw dropping displays are based on themes that change five times a year – Chinese New Year, Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter (Christmas and New Year). Oh, and yes, fresh flowers are used every two weeks. What about the wilted flowers? They get converted to mulch! This is a not-to-be-missed attraction in Las Vegas for free!

What – A two-story waterfall at the Palazzo Hotel

Why should you not miss it – Another thing to do in Las Vegas for free is this waterfall. As you step into the Palazzo Atrium and Garden, chances are you will forget the bling and glitz of the Strip that you just saw. The two-story waterfall, surrounded by the most exotic flowers from around the world is going to mesmerize you like nothing before. The arrangements are theme-based including the Chinese New Year and is the perfect spot for those selfies with a pout

What – An exhibition in the desert outside of Las Vegas

Why you shouldn’t miss it – If you are looking for things to do in Las Vegas for free and you have time at hand, you shouldn’t miss this. It’s an exhibition that is physically and symbolically mid-way between the natural and the artificial. It expresses the harmony between the man-made – the extravagant Vegas and the desert mountains of Nevada.

Fremont Street Experience –

What – Light and music show at the Fremont Street, Downtown Las Vegas

Why should you not miss it – When the vintage meets the new, what you get is an unforgettable experience. The street, spanning four blocks, is covered with a giant digital screen as roof and is the ultimate party place in Las Vegas. There are free concerts happening at every two steps, you name the star and there is an impersonator performing his songs and a zip line to check out the entire street from above. Apart from that, there is a music and light show that’s projected on the digital roof! So forget you are in Vegas, get drunk and dance away to glory as the Fremont Street takes you to a different world

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area –

What – National Conservation Area with more than 30 miles of hiking trails

Why should you not miss it – If you are like me, you would want to take a break from all the glitz and glamour that Vegas offers and run into nature’s lap. It is temporary but it may hit you like it hit me. Secondly, you need to know what the Nevada landscape actually looks like! If you are not up for a trek, there is a 13-miles long drive through the loop with vista points. You can enjoy the scenic beauty through the loop without stepping out of your car. There is a car fee of $7.

    I’ve only been to Vegas once (years ago) and the way I experienced it just wasn’t for me as I am not a night life kind of gal. I love that what you put together is a really well rounded list that offers a lot of different sides to Vegas. I would go back and check these items off the list for sure!

    Love all of these. My husband and I went to Begas back in November for a few days and loved it. We were able to see the Bellagio and it was amazing. Freemont was pretty interesting.

    These are great suggestions. Its so easy to spend lots of money in Vegas! It’s not cheap! We’ve seen a few of what you have suggested and I loved them. We haven’t tried the seven magic mountains in the dessert so will check that out next time we’re there!

    Oh wow! I toatlly thought of Las Vegas as an expensive place to visit and although it probably is, there is sooo much to do for free. I’m loving all of your ideas, especially going out into the dessert – I think that’s a fab idea to see the exhibition there. Would have LOVED to have seen a photo of the two storey waterfall, but I guess I’ll just have to go there myself now 🙂 💚

    There are so many cool things to do in Vegas! I was only there a day the last time but I loved walking through some of the malls! They were beautiful inside!

    These are all great thing to do for someone who is visiting for the first time. Some of these I have heard of or seen in pictures, some are new. I have yet to go to Las Vegas and when I do I will enjoy every minute of my trip out there.

    We LOVED the Bellagio Fountain show too!! I was so bummed we didn’t make it to Seven Magic Mountains, but I am definitely saving this for next time we roll through Vegas! Great free options!
